About The Position

The Senior Financial Analysis & Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing reports for corporate, including accounting document processing, financial analysis such as budget vs. actual comparison, month-end closing, and invoicing, as well as fiscal year-end close. This position also assists in maintaining and updating the budget and participates in special projects as necessary. The role reports directly to the Director of Financial Analysis & Reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Accounting or Finance and 5 or more years of accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding of Accounting & Finance principles, along with metrics, processes, and terminology.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong communicator able to interface with Executive Leadership Team, Board of Directors, and Financial Sponsors
  • Flexible and able to multi-task; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with comprehensive financial analysis, prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts for the business to ensure financial stability.
  • Compile financial reports and ensures proper month-end process as well as to monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports for the financial department.
  • Deliver monthly budget vs. actual reporting, including detailed expense analysis by category, with clear communication of variances, trends, and actionable insights.
  • Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports for the financial department.
  • Serve as a key support resource for Corporate Channel leaders during the annual budgeting process and recurring monthly analysis.
  • Manage and maintain financial master data and mapping structures for G/L accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, and reporting hierarchies in S4/ECC.
  • Create, enhance, and maintain BOBJ reports required by Accounting and Finance.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes to increase accuracy, reduce errors, and enhance efficiency.
  • Support the standardization of reporting across financial systems, including BOBJ and BPC.
  • Provide strong partnership, analytical support, and financial insights across the Finance organization.
  • Support ad hoc analyses, special projects, and other initiatives as assigned.
