About The Position

As a member of the Imperial Service Team, you’ll manage and grow a dedicated client portfolio through key relationship management, creating comprehensive financial plans and providing exceptional client service. As a Senior Financial Advisor in the Imperial Service Team, you’ll expertly deliver on CIBC’s Imperial Service approach, taking responsibility for a large portfolio and helping clients plan for today’s needs and tomorrow’s goals. You’ll proactively engage with many new and existing clients to make lasting connections and understand their goals, build their financial plan using advanced CIBC tools, and give them the right advice to help them make well-informed choices for their future. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. To successfully perform the work, you’ll be on-site full-time.

Requirements

  • A postsecondary degree/diploma and/or 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID) certification.
  • Current accreditation and good standing for CIRO-ID licensing.
  • Current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing (Quebec).
  • Successful completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF licensing.
  • Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC) certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Successful completion of CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course - Quebec (0774).
  • Successful completion of CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790).
