About The Position

As a Sr Finance Systems Analyst here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a key role in supporting and optimizing our financial systems to ensure seamless financial operations. You will collaborate with finance and IT teams to analyze system requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements that improve efficiency and data accuracy. You will report directly to our Finance Systems Manager, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the effectiveness of financial processes by ensuring that the systems supporting these processes are robust, reliable, and aligned with business needs. Your expertise will help drive data integrity and operational excellence across the finance function.

Requirements

  • Experience with SAP, HFM, and other finance applications.
  • Ability to resolve closing issues related to interface posting errors, allocations, and reconciliation of finance modules (FI, CO, PCA, COPA).
  • Experience with Intercompany processes.
  • Skills in analyzing, designing, and supporting finance systems.
  • Experience collaborating with IT and finance stakeholders on system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Ability to resolve functional and technical challenges.
  • Experience supporting Financial and SOX audit requests.
  • Ability to provide training and support to finance users.
  • Experience in developing and enforcing data governance policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coordinate and ensure timely execution of month and year-end financial closing processes within SAP, HFM, and other finance applications for the respective regions.
  • Work in collaboration with other teams to resolve closing issues related to interface posting errors, allocations, reconciliation of the multiple finance modules (FI, CO, PCA, COPA).
  • Ensure Intercompany process from FCOE perspectives are well delivered.
  • Analyze, design, and support finance systems to meet business requirements and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance stakeholders to implement system upgrades, integrations, enhancements, and resolve functional and technical challenges.
  • Support Financial and SOX audit requests.
  • Provide training and support to finance users on system functionality and best practices.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of data governance policies and procedures.
