About The Position

What if your financial leadership didn't just keep the books — it helped power the world's clean energy transition? As Site Finance Leader for GE Vernova's Power Transmission manufacturing facility in Clearwater, Florida, you'll be at the intersection of strategy and execution, shaping how one of our key manufacturing sites performs financially. • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proven ability to communicate financial information clearly and influence cross-functional stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • A formal education and subsequent Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements

  • Background in GE Vernova's Financial Management Program (FMP) or Operations Finance Leadership Program (OFLP)

Responsibilities

  • Own site financial performance — develop and manage the factory budget, produce regular financial reports, and lead monthly and quarterly close activities in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and revenue recognition policy
  • Drive cost discipline — conduct detailed manufacturing cost analysis, identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement, and measure productivity against standards and actuals
  • Lead project finance — manage P&L and balance sheet for your project portfolio, partner with Project Managers to identify opportunities and mitigate risks, and support quarterly project reviews with clear reporting on status, risks, and expected financial outcomes

  • Ensure financial integrity and compliance — maintain accurate project accounting, support internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and corporate policies, including balance sheet account reconciliations
