About The Position

Finance & Reporting Accountable for accurate and timely monthly revenue accounting under IFSR15, ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting and requirements. Design SSP process under IFRS15 Risk Management for all revenue streams Automate Revenue accounting as contracts are novated to Direct Motive agreements Analyse customer contracts and convert into revenue accounting profiles Complete group revenue checklist requirements for material customer contracts Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Contribute to revenue forecasting Work closely with CFO on all revenue matters Manage one direct report – Revenue Accountant Governance & Risk Apply best practices to processes and systems to affect revenue, profitability and cashflow, to improve operating efficiency and performance. Lead and implement introduction of new systems and processes Responsible for Risk Management of revenue, effective internal controls and process improvements. Oversee and improve effective administration processes and systems for company records and contracts. Work closely with all functional leads to ensure projects bids and contract terms, financial and otherwise, adhere to corporate parameters. Business Partnering: Support the BU leadership and FP&A function to develop clear business plans, priorities, and forecasts in line with +/- 5% forecast accuracy targets Evolve financial processes, systems, and policies to ensure scalability, the availability of accurate and timely data to make the best business decisions, and to comply with regulations and corporate governance requirements Other Activities Attend management meetings, annual events, and other activities directed by the CFO. Some global travel (post COVID-19) may be required, from time to time. Help create a culture of learning, trust, and self-improvement Any other duties as required

Requirements

  • Holds an Accounting Qualification (CPA/ACA/ACCA)
  • In depth knowledge of IFRS, in particular an expert in IFRS15
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate and work effectively with the business
  • Experience of working within a Group organization, submitting reports into Group, working to a close timetable appropriate for a publicly listed company
  • Hands-on mindset essential, comfortable preparing and reviewing reconciliations, posting journals, and preparing working papers
  • Has a passion for learning, is patient, constructive, positive
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Is very organized, does not need to be chased.
  • Strong hands-on use of NetSuite & SalesForce, comfortable with Microsoft Office tools
  • Extensive experience in industry working in a multi-entity finance function
  • Software industry experience
  • Experience of working with Telco’s an advantage
  • 5+ years minimum of PQE
