About The Position

Velosio is looking for a Senior F+O Supply Chain Consultant to be an integral member of our F+O Team. As a Senior F+O Supply Chain Consultant at Velosio, you will be responsible for reviewing client business processes, re-engineering the client’s processes to improve efficiency, and performing many of the functional tasks required for successful Microsoft Dynamics Supply Chain Management software implementations.

Requirements

  • Strong product knowledge of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain/Distribution with full lifecycle implementation experience
  • Excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills targeted to effectively present information to C-level management, public groups and/or boards of directors
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to quality, self-motivation and a desire to succeed
  • Possess business consulting, project definition, estimating, sales and strategic and tactical planning skills for engagements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or information systems or equivalent
  • 4+ years consulting experience
  • Possesses a professional presence suitable for direct client interaction by telephone or in-person
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Core product or technology Master certification or equivalent experience plus two additional individual certifications

Nice To Haves

  • Industry experience in medical supplies, electronics, chemicals or other distribution related industries desired
  • Experience with products outside of specialty area
  • Accounting experience

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, direct, and oversee work performed by Consultants, Associate Consultants and/or subcontractors
  • Lead 1 to 4-person project teams when necessary
  • Conduct team member project reviews as needed
  • Perform on-site consulting services for implementation projects in the areas of requirements gathering, business process review, application and workflow design, configuration and testing, basic to intermediate level architectural work
  • Coordinate testing and go-live tasks, end-user training, and ongoing support services
  • Meet productivity and efficiency standards (billable hours and realization rates)
  • Lead the development of project plans, work task schedules, and system architecting as needed
  • Develop appropriate peer-level relationships with clients, interacting with the client project team regarding task status and representing the company via formal and informal client contact
  • Participate in project quality assurance process as appropriate; accountable for following project QA process and Velosio project methodology
  • Proactively participate in and lead strategic “path forward” discussions/meetings with clients
  • Participate in user group meetings as a presenter/subject matter expert resource
  • Able to complete medium to large client implementations independently, coordinating project plan and client communications
  • Considered an expert in one AND has strong competency in more than one of the following: distribution, warehouse management, transportation management, supply chain management, project management, , integrations/migrations, ISV solutions
  • Identify and manage projects and client related risks and issues
  • Prepare high quality deliverables that supports recommendations based on experience and expertise
  • Engage with client leadership and decision makers to gain an understanding of client business and technical conditions, vision, and risks
  • Ensure Velosio high expectations for quality in all assigned projects and deliverables under their control
  • Perform formal and informal mentoring and/or coaching to Associate Consultants, Consultants, and new employees of all levels
  • Participate in sales pursuits and demonstrations as needed
