About The Position

The Federal Consulting team seeks a Transformation Office Executive Sponsor to provide senior executive sponsorship, decision-making support, and cross-functional alignment for Oracle Health Federal Consulting transformation priorities. This role serves as an executive sponsor to the Transformation Office by helping resolve enterprise-level impediments, clarify priorities, and reinforce accountability across functions. The sponsor is not a direct member of the Transformation Office; rather, this leader provides the executive engagement, governance support, and escalation pathway needed to improve delivery outcomes. This role involves working across Federal Consulting, Oracle Health Government Services, Product, Engineering, IT, Finance, Security, Deal Desk, Business Management, Delivery, Consulting Operations, Risk Enablement, Change Management, and Communications. The sponsor will champion the Transformation Office mandate, sponsor governance forums, facilitate senior-level decisions, and ensure leaders are accountable for actions that affect program health, delivery timeliness, and transformation outcomes. Requirements

  • At least 10 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including experience in consulting, healthcare information technology, program management, client delivery, consulting operations, product operations, or enterprise transformation.
  • 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional transformation, consulting, delivery, operations, or executive governance in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Experience providing executive-level sponsorship, stakeholder alignment, or decision facilitation for major initiatives.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience in a functional, technical, consulting, operational, or delivery role.
  • Ability to obtain Federal security clearance (Public Trust) necessary for this role, which requires being a US citizen and residing in the US.
  • Experience working across matrixed teams and holding leaders accountable for decisions, actions, and timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues involving ownership, funding, sequencing, prioritization, delivery timelines, or program health.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive, functional, and operational audiences.
  • Experience using governance routines, metrics, and structured decision forums to drive outcomes.
  • Strong business judgment and ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in Oracle Health, healthcare IT, Federal Consulting, or federal healthcare delivery environments.
  • Experience sponsoring or leading a Transformation Office, PMO, strategic operations, process improvement, or enterprise governance function.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority.
  • Familiarity with automation, delivery measurement, program health metrics, and executive dashboards.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, IT, Risk, Finance, Security, Deal Desk, Delivery, and Change Management teams.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma, Prosci, or related transformation, process improvement, or change management certification.

Responsibilities

  • Champion the Transformation Office mandate and reinforce its role in advancing automation, governance, operational measurement, and executive visibility.
  • Provide senior executive sponsorship and decision-making support when issues require alignment across Federal Consulting, Oracle Health Government Services, Product, Engineering, IT, Finance, Security, Deal Desk, Business Management, or Delivery.
  • Partner with functional leaders to resolve enterprise-level impediments that exceed the authority or scope of the Transformation Office Lead or workstream owners.
  • Ensure cross-functional leaders are accountable for timely decisions, actions, and commitments that affect delivery timelines, program health, and transformation outcomes.
  • Sponsor executive governance routines, including steering reviews, priority-setting discussions, and escalation forums.
  • Resolve conflicts involving ownership, funding, sequencing, or prioritization when multiple teams are involved.
  • Maintain clear separation of responsibilities between the Transformation Office and functional teams while enabling consistent measurement, governance, automation, and escalation across workstreams.
  • Partner with the Transformation Office Lead, workstream owners, Change Management, and Communications leads to support alignment, adoption, and clarity.
