About The Position

As Executive Assistant to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), you will act as part of the marketing leadership team and provide all levels of administrative support to the CMO. You’ll work on a one-to-one basis with the CMO on a variety of tasks related to these executives' priorities and focus, but also on a two-to-one basis with the CMO and Chief of Staff. Ensure the CMO’s priorities are reflected in time investment/ the weekly calendar Run successful off-sites and multi-functional meetings that drive Databricks’ marketing strategy, organizational decisions, and culture, and build team bonding Provide thought partnership to the CMO on how to shuffle, delegate,and dissolve meetings (for async coordination) to free up focus time based on strategic goals Handle logistical details related to travel, IT, admin, expenses, etc Drive advanced planning for smart time investment during travel – 1:1s, customers, partners, events, and team bonding, etc. Coordinate with senior marketing leadership candidates on key searches Partner closely with the Chief of Staff to CMO, the CMO’s staff and key business partners in People Team and Finance

Requirements

  • 8+ or more years of applicable administrative experience in a global technology organization
  • 5+ years of experience partnering with senior management
  • 5+ years of experience running events/offsite events for executive leadership teams
  • Excel in calendar management and expense reports
  • Experience with Google Meet, Zoom, Google Calendar, Gmail, Slack, Google Suite, etc.
  • Teamwork skills: an ability to offer suggestions and improvements to processes, and work very collaboratively with others
  • Efficient, deriving priorities from high-level goals
  • Can figure out new systems and adapt on the go
