About The Position

Seeking an Experienced Software Test Engineer with 8+ years in ETL and database testing, strong SQL and analytical skills, hands-on with diverse DB technologies and BI tools, and proven expertise in Agile delivery and client coordination. This is a contract role for an Onsite position in Brentwood, TN.

Requirements

8+ years in ETL and database testing
Strong SQL and analytical skills
Hands-on with diverse DB technologies and BI tools
Proven expertise in Agile delivery and client coordination
Software testing experience of 8-10 years.
Strong ETL Testing / Database Testing & communication skills.
Good in overall analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
Working experience in Database / Integrated database environment & usage of ETL Tools.
Experience / Awareness about different database technologies - RDBMS (MS SQL Server, Oracle, Netezza), No SQL, Cloud Technologies (Google Spanner, Big Query).
Experience on writing SQL Queries - DML, Joins, Sub Queries, Group By, Having.
Understanding mapping sheet, creating ETL test scenarios from the mapping sheet, executing those scenarios on different test environment.
Experience in BI Reports / Cognos Reports Testing.
Experience of working on Stored Procedures / Triggers, SOAP UI.
Knowledge of the STLC process & exposure to agile methodology.
Understand the scope/requirements of the project from requirements, user stories and interactions with the team.
Develop, implement and review the test plans.
Create or modify and execute test cases.
Create or modify test data.
Provide estimates and status to management for the System Test phase of a project/release.
Experience in worked in Offshore - Onsite model.
Has experience of Onsite coordination.

Nice To Haves

Experience working on tools like JIRA, ALM, Octane will be added advantage.
