This role involves delivering technical solutions for business problems in HR/Finance and Supply Chain Management, requiring effective interaction within the IT department and with business SMEs and leaders. The developer will work with related business procedures and practices, in addition to the technical aspects of the PeopleSoft environment. Duties include designing and developing technical solutions for new or modified business processes, providing process automation using PeopleSoft tools, and integrating with Oracle Cloud HCM, Taleo, and related HR applications. The role also involves collaborating with business SMEs and functional teammates to evaluate solution alternatives, conferring with analysts to design usable technical solutions, conducting code reviews, mentoring team resources, and working with functional and technical teams on system requirement gathering, analysis, design, testing, and implementation. The developer will assist with project plan development, define and execute unit and integration test plans, coordinate user acceptance and QA testing, oversee systems testing and migration to production, and write various types of documentation. The position supports an enterprise-wide PeopleSoft environment and its non-production databases. The developer will work closely with the functional team to resolve issues, perform enhancements, maintenance, and production support, and analyze complex business requirements, assisting with fit/gap analysis and designing streamlined solutions.
