About The Position

Noah Medical is building the future of medical robotics with a next-generation robotic platform targeting early diagnosis and treatment. We are seeking a hands-on Sr. Equipment Automation Engineer who excels at the intersection of software development, automation, and advanced manufacturing. This role involves solving complex production challenges with scalable software solutions and developing systems to enhance product quality, process capability, and manufacturing efficiency. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment with Manufacturing, Quality, Electrical, Mechanical, and Product Development teams to deliver reliable and compliant manufacturing solutions, taking ownership from concept to deployment and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on manufacturing, automation, or industrial systems.
  • Strong programming experience in C#.
  • Strong programming experience in Python.
  • Strong programming experience in Structured Text (IEC 61131-3 PLC Programming).
  • Experience integrating software with PLCs, motion control systems, sensors, vision systems, and industrial communication protocols.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented software design, software architecture, and software development best practices.
  • Experience with SQL databases, data collection systems, and manufacturing analytics.
  • Proficiency with source control systems such as Git and modern software development workflows.
  • Ability to troubleshoot software, hardware, and automation issues in a production environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, operations, and quality teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in medical devices, robotics, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing scale-up activities.
  • Medical device, robotics, or regulated manufacturing experience.
  • Familiarity with FDA, ISO 13485, GMP, or other regulated quality systems.

  • Developing manufacturing applications, automation systems, and machine controls.
