About The Position

We are seeking multiple Sr Epic Beaker Analysts to support a large-scale laboratory systems initiative. These roles will provide Sr-level expertise across the full application lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, configuration, testing, validation, implementation, and post-deployment support for Epic Beaker and related laboratory technologies. Successful candidates will possess Epic Beaker AP or CP certification and have experience supporting complex laboratory workflows and system integrations. Experience with Data Innovations (DI) is highly desired, with select roles requiring hands-on DI rule development and instrument integration expertise. These are Sr-level positions requiring strong technical expertise, independent decision-making, and the ability to collaborate effectively across clinical, operational, and technical teams. Candidates should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities and supporting critical implementation and optimization efforts. Participation in occasional off-hours support activities may be required based on project needs.

Requirements

  • Epic Beaker AP and/or CP Certification
  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or Associate degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience supporting large-scale Epic Beaker implementations and enhancements
  • Strong experience in: Systems analysis and solution design
  • Application build and configuration
  • Testing, validation, and implementation
  • Requirements gathering and stakeholder collaboration
  • Complex system integrations and troubleshooting
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, documentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Experience supporting UAT, validation testing, and defect resolution activities
  • Hands-on Data Innovations (DI) experience
  • DI rule development and maintenance
  • Laboratory instrument integration

Responsibilities

  • Support the full system lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, build, testing, validation, implementation, and optimization
  • Partner with laboratory, operational, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that support business and clinical needs
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Epic Beaker functionality
  • Perform system validation, data integrity reviews, and workflow analysis
  • Support testing efforts, including integrated testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), validation activities, and defect resolution
  • Assist with change requests, issue triage, and release management activities
  • Contribute to go-live readiness, deployment planning, and post-implementation support
  • Collaborate across multiple teams to ensure successful delivery of laboratory system enhancements and integrations
  • Translate business and operational requirements into system configuration
  • Lead application build, maintenance, and optimization efforts
  • Develop and execute configuration strategies for laboratory workflows
  • Support design reviews, testing, and validation activities
  • Recommend process improvements and system enhancements
  • Support implementation and maintenance of laboratory instrument interfaces
  • Develop, update, and troubleshoot Data Innovations rules and workflows
  • Ensure accurate and reliable data exchange between instruments and connected systems
  • Partner with technical teams to resolve interface and integration issues
  • Support interface validation, testing, and production readiness activities
  • Execute testing and validation activities across laboratory systems
  • Support defect identification, troubleshooting, and resolution
  • Validate workflows, interfaces, and system functionality
  • Assist with release readiness and go-live preparation
  • Provide flexible support across priority workstreams and critical project initiatives
