About The Position

In this role, you will have the opportunity to direct all aspects of the largest and most complex Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) projects, including risk to safety, quality, cost, schedule, with senior accountability for safety, quality, construction execution, field leadership, labor productivity, subcontractor and labor strategy, project controls, commercial risk, and startup/commissioning integration. You will lead the day-to-day successful execution of contracted engineering, procurement, and construction scope in the areas of safety, quality, performance, financial metrics, planning, schedule, contractual compliance, and client satisfaction. You will also provide for the successful staffing of the project and direct and lead large teams of multi-discipline professionals, including project managers, site/construction leaders, and integrated EPC project teams across one or more major projects. Additionally, you will coordinate and integrate the activities associated with the engineering, procurement, construction, and startup elements of the project team, including the activities of all third-party companies contributing to the initiative.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Directs the largest, most complex EPC projects or groups of EPC projects, with senior accountability for safe construction execution, quality, client outcomes, schedule, financial performance, commercial risk, and project recovery.
Provides senior direction to project managers, project directors, construction leaders, and integrated EPC teams across engineering, procurement, construction, startup/commissioning, project controls, commercial, quality, and safety.
Resolves the highest-risk construction, labor, subcontractor, schedule, cost, commercial, client, and execution issues on major EPC work.
Manages multiple clients and/or accountable for implementing expanded new business objectives.
Oversees and delivers opportunities for new/repeat business, finalizing key contract negotiations with client executives and project managers.
Manages broad and varied complex risk profile, including enterprise-level EPC execution, construction productivity, labor strategy, subcontractor performance, site execution, and recovery risk.
