About The Position

Addepar is seeking a Senior Enterprise Sales Engineer to join their team. This role acts as a strategic partner throughout the sales process, leading high-stakes engagements with C-Suite executives and global stakeholders. The Sales Engineer will architect how Addepar’s vertically integrated platform transforms complex legacy operations into modern, AI-driven ecosystems. They will leverage their mastery of financial software to help prospects and large relationships contextualize Addepar as a mission-critical component of their long-term business strategy. The role involves working with Account Executives to drive the technical side of the sales cycle, focusing on AI-driven workflows and data integration. Internally, the Sales Engineer will collaborate with teams to ensure prospects are informed about product development, workflows, and use cases. This individual will be an inspirational leader, relied upon by internal teams and sought out for guidance by prospects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Sales Engineering or Solutions Architecture, with a proven history of closing your company’s highest revenue generating deals and navigating global enterprise procurement
  • Deep fluency in AI-driven software and modern data ecosystems
  • Ability to pitch high-impact use cases to external stakeholders and push technical boundaries internally
  • Ability to translate "data strategy" for a CTO, "efficiency" for a COO, applicability for an advisor and champion AI-first workflows to uplevel the sales team
  • Confidence to guide high-stakes technical engagements and experience to lead executive reviews for c-suite stakeholders
  • Ability to excel at high-level systems design, understanding how Addepar integrates into massive, multi-vendor legacy architectures and can clearly articulate value along the way
  • Understanding of where global wealth management is heading and can position Addepar as the only platform capable of meeting future platform and market demands
  • Ability to see the technical journey as a means to a business end, connecting technical milestones to tangible business value and ARR growth throughout the entire lifecycle of a relationship
  • Understanding workflows embedded and concept of integrating complex data sets
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future visa sponsorship
  • Must be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on their first day of employment

Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead domain authority for global, multi-billion dollar opportunities, partner with account executives to design complex deal structures and multi-year expansion roadmaps
  • Guide existing clients through the modernization of their workflows, demonstrating how migrating to a platform or adopting Addepar’s AI-powered insights creates a vertically integrated ecosystem that outpaces their current setup
  • Conduct executive-level discovery to identify systemic business inefficiencies, mapping them to a holistic technical vision that incorporates AI, data lakehouses, and third-party integrations
  • Design and build tailored demo environments, run end-to-end proof-of-concepts including the ingestion of client data to showcase the platform's value
  • Lead technical executive reviews and expansion executions for our largest existing relationships, identifying and delivering new platform value that directly drives incremental ARR
  • Manage the technical portions of the sales cycle, including responding to RFPs/RFIs and coordinating with internal product and engineering teams
  • Act as a force multiplier by mentoring, establishing and refining sales playbooks, and institutionalizing standards for demos and technical validation
