Sr. Engineering Technician

Requirements
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in engineering or technical roles
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field preferred
- Certification in a relevant engineering discipline is a plus
- Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles, tools, and systems
- Proficiency in CAD, Microsoft Word/Excel, and electrical test equipment setup
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (DWGs)
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities across technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks as required
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating lathes and mills to fabricate precision parts
- Familiarity with plasma cutting processes and controls
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical issues across equipment and systems
- Plan and execute maintenance and repair tasks to minimize downtime and optimize performance
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and resolve potential issues
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to develop and implement technical solutions
- Assist in installation, calibration, and testing of new equipment and systems
- Support new product design initiatives through testing, setup, and performance validation
- Maintain accurate records of testing procedures and product performance data
- Mentor junior technicians on technical procedures, safety protocols, and best practices
- Participate in cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise for engineering projects
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all technical activities
