Requirements

  • Technical/Associates Degree or equivalent, or 4+ years relevant experience, is required
  • 4+ years Experience with chillers required
  • Professional communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using an MRP system (SAP and/or MAPICS) is a plus
  • Experience in industrial equipment is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate setup, testing, and data retrieval with the test labs.
  • Tasks will be related to research, new product development, and/or product sustaining.
  • Communicate test plan and resource needs with test lab management according to engineering priority.
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop test plans and evaluate facility capabilities.
  • Provide test setup and test operation instruction and guidance to test operators.
  • Manage engineering inventory of spare parts, tools, and instrumentation.
  • Identify and order parts from various appropriate vendors.
  • Ensure instrumentation and data acquisition systems are gathering accurate test data and engage test lab to resolve issues.
  • Troubleshoot chiller operational issues.
  • Document test procedures and best practices for reference by other technicians, engineers, and test operators.
  • Document chiller modifications and software upgrades for each prototype.
  • Assist engineers to develop chiller modification plans and coordinate with test lab to ensure timely execution.
