Reporting to the Manager of Controls & Security Tech Solutions, the Associate Staff Controls Engineer leads the development and execution of medium to high complexity capital projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • PLC/PAC programming (Rockwell, Siemens)
  • HMI/SCADA (FactoryTalk, Ignition)
  • Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to travel (~30%+)
  • 3+ years of experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, selection, installation, and commissioning of control systems and automated equipment
  • Develop and assess control systems for manufacturing environments
  • Manage small capital projects including scope, cost, and schedule
  • Ensure compliance with industrial control network and cybersecurity standards
  • Support startup, optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Partner cross-functionally across engineering, operations, and vendors
  • Train manufacturing and maintenance teams
