The Core Services team owns the sensor infrastructure that every CrowdStrike endpoint depends on: secure network communications, cryptographic operations, content delivery, and secure local data storage. These are foundational runtime components that execute on every protected endpoint across Windows, Linux, and macOS. As a Senior Engineer on this team, you will build, extend, and maintain the low-level systems that connect the Falcon Sensor to the CrowdStrike cloud — handling connection lifecycle management, traffic and protocol management, cryptographic integration, content delivery, and on-device storage at endpoint fleet scale. This is a systems software role. You'll work close to the OS across multiple platforms, reason carefully about correctness and performance under real-world load, and hold a high engineering bar in a codebase where reliability is non-negotiable. You will work cross-functionally with peer engineers across Mac, Linux, Windows, and many other teams inside and outside your core organization in a diverse environment. You're stepping into a team with established component ownership and a charter that is actively expanding. The engineering spans cross-platform correctness, performance-sensitive code paths, and cryptographic and network components where a defect is a security event. You'll work alongside engineers who take the reliability bar seriously; regressions here land on every protected endpoint simultaneously. If you want to build foundational software that runs at global scale and has a direct impact on security outcomes, this is the role.
