Responsible for operational performance supporting the timely and accurate fabrication and assembly of fuel cell components, subassemblies and full-scale units. Support, participate in and lead manufacturing engineering teams working on allocation of resources, fabrication and assembly processes, non conformance pursuit and resolution, and for planned and unplanned performance of complex fabrication and assembly issues. Oversee, lead and perform ME duties and tasks in conjunction with procurement, materials, engineering and quality groups to support the upgrading, installation and commissioning of new floor equipment and facilities upgrades. Concentrated collaboration with and across a variety of engineering disciplines, supply chain and other groups with a focus on hourly assembly and test functions, processes and equipment. Intense focus on non-conformance identification and prompt, thorough data collection and assessments, to determine root cause and remedial actions with a timely, cost-effective and customer-focused approach. Strong emphasis on sharing skills and knowledge, mentoring others and supporting employee skill development. This position will require on-site work in South Windsor, CT.
