The Engineer, Cloud Hosting is responsible for supporting and improving cloud and infrastructure environments to ensure reliability, performance, and operational efficiency. This role contributes to the delivery of stable and scalable infrastructure services while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Multiple years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems administration roles
  • Experience managing Windows and Linux server environments in an enterprise setting
  • Certification with Azure or analogous cloud technology
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of scripting or automation tools (e.g. PowerShell, Python, and YAML)

Nice To Haves

  • Scripting or automation using tools such as PowerApps, LogicApps, or Ansible
  • Supporting infrastructure in environments with defined security and compliance requirements (e.g. SOX)
  • Exposure to cloud cost management or optimization practices

Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations of Windows and Linux server environments across cloud and on-premise platforms.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues and partner with internal teams or vendors to resolve incidents on-premises.
  • Contribute to automation and configuration management efforts to improve operational efficiency.
  • Execute system maintenance activities including patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Collaborate with compliance, security, and application teams to support enterprise initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
