About The Position

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will serve as a technical leader driving enterprise automation across systems, platforms, and services. This role is focused on designing, integrating, and scaling automation across the enterprise ecosystem—connecting cloud platforms, identity services, infrastructure systems, and operational tools to enable consistent, reliable, and efficient operations. You will define automation strategy, guide architectural decisions, and partner across engineering and operations teams to deliver end-to-end automation and integration solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in automation engineering within enterprise environments
  • Strong experience designing and implementing automation across multiple systems and platforms
  • Advanced proficiency in: PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform
  • Strong understanding of: API-based integrations, Windows and Linux platforms (working knowledge; not primary focus)
  • Experience working with: Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with development and collaboration tools: JIRA, GitHub or GitLab, Confluence
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps and CI/CD practices
  • Experience designing or supporting enterprise integrations across identity, infrastructure, and application platforms
  • Experience with agentic AI tools and development workflows (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, NemoClaw, or similar) is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cross-platform automation solutions that integrate enterprise systems and services
  • Define and maintain automation frameworks, patterns, and standards across the organization
  • Lead design of end-to-end workflows spanning multiple systems, APIs, and platforms
  • Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and operational requirements
  • Develop automation using tools such as: PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform
  • Automate and orchestrate: provisioning and configuration workflows, system integrations and data flows, monitoring, auditing, and operational processes
  • Troubleshoot complex automation and integration issues, providing root cause analysis and long-term remediation
  • Lead automation initiatives, including scoping, prioritization, and stakeholder coordination
  • Act as a design authority for enterprise automation and integration solutions
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams
  • Establish and enforce standards for automation, integration, and platform consistency
  • Drive adoption of automation-first and integration-first approaches across teams
  • Evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance automation capabilities
  • Identify opportunities to standardize workflows and reduce manual processes
  • Guide evolution of automation platforms and integration strategies
