About The Position

KeyBank is looking for an experienced Email Marketing Professional to join our Email team. In this role you will be instrumental in developing and executing email campaigns and journeys for key initiatives. You will plan, develop, manage and execute email campaigns and journeys to include email development, campaign setup, execution, testing, deployment, analysis and optimization. You will build and sustain excellent working relationships with colleagues and collaborate with internal partners to produce effective and measurable outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree; 3-5 years minimum professional experience
  • Knowledge of email concepts, metrics, design and best practices
  • Experience with at least one major Email Service Provider (ESP)
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email development
  • Ability to analyze, summarize and interpret email metrics to understand success and optimize programs; can move logically from findings to conclusions
  • Must have excellent attention to detail, high level of organization and excel at multi-tasking.
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while proactively sharing timely status updates and information with partners
  • Can prepare and present data/findings in a concise and understandable format
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities; capable of operating in a dynamic environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Adobe Campaign or Adobe Journey Optimizer, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop, build, and deploy email campaigns and journeys, to include HTML development/editing, campaign setup, testing, deployment, analysis, and optimization.
  • Act as a strategic and collaborative advisor for the line of business (LOB) by providing effective email marketing advice.
  • Collaborate program ideation and optimizations that drive engagement and meet business goals.
  • Deliver assigned marketing emails within scope and timeline.
  • Manage reporting and tracking functions for assigned campaigns/journeys.
  • Have a test and learn mindset; recommend and implement email tests to optimize outcomes.
  • Analyze and interpret email performance metrics and conversion data to provide recommendations to improve email programs/campaigns.
  • Ensure emails follow industry best practices and KeyBank Compliance requirements.
  • Implement dynamic content for personalization and segmentation of emails as needed.
