The Sr. Electronics Technician will serve as a maintenance technician at the Naval Consolidated BRIG (Prison), in Charleston, SC. Employee would be part of a team that would work normal shift hours but would also have on call hours 24/7 for emergency maintenance actions. This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. Applying technical knowledge to solve routing problems by interpreting manufacturers’ manuals and engineering drawings with 4+ years of experience. Work requires familiarity with HP Aruba Network Switch programming, Windows 11 and Windows Server setup and troubleshooting Compliant with safety, security, property and material management, time and attendance. Familiarity with Milestone Video system, Stentofon Intercom Systems, Aviva Wonnderware HMI software and PLC hardware, door electronic locks. Keeps current on procedures, policies, instructions, technical orders, and manufacturer’s manuals. Guidelines include those established by the supervisor, manufacture’s handbooks, the National Electric Code, and engineering handbooks appropriate to the trade. Follows established safety procedures and utilizes safety protective equipment and clothing that pertains to particular trades or skills. Performs other related duties as assigned.
