Sr. Electronic Assembly Technician
About The Position
Visium Resources is seeking a senior electronic technician for a potential contract-to-direct-hire opportunity expected to be on-site in the Lake Mary, Florida area. The role involves component-level assembly and repair of electronic systems, which may involve optical or laser technology. The technician will bring hands-on technical experience and contribute to system assembly, testing, and prototype work. Relevant project experience and education may qualify candidates for consideration for other positions within the organization. The employer may also consider more junior- or senior-level candidates to complement the team.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in electronic assembly and/or repair.
- Strong hands-on technical experience and aptitude.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with optical or laser systems; prior laser experience is especially desirable.
- Experience with system testing or prototypes.
