About The Position

Leads the development of advanced electrical models and detailed drawings using BIM technology to enhance project coordination and execution. Serves as a technical resource for electrical modeling standards and constructability. Collaborates closely with project engineers and field teams to ensure designs are accurate, efficient, and compliant with codes and project requirements.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in electrical design, drafting, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
• 4+ years of experience in electrical modeling, detailing, or coordination required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates complex electrical models and layouts using Revit, AutoCAD, Evolve and Navisworks.
• Reviews and validates models for accuracy, constructability, and code compliance.
• Provides guidance and mentorship to other modelers in modeling techniques and project standards.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to identify and resolve coordination issues.
• Supports prefabrication, material planning, and field installation coordination.
• Documents and implements improvements to modeling workflows and standards.
