Requirements

  • Bachelors, or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in power electronics development and testing preferred.
  • Solid understanding of power electronics fundamentals.
  • Good hands-on experience for hardware test and validation.
  • Familiar with various equipment (force gauge, thermocouples, power supplies, multimeter, hi-pot tester, etc.)
  • Knowledge of automotive and industrial environmental reliability requirements (GMW, ISO, IEC standards).

Responsibilities

  • Review electrical schematics, PCB designs, and conduct test plans for EV charging power electronics systems.
  • Conduct verification tests for power electronics systems, ensuring compliance with industry and requirements.
  • Analyze root-cause of the power electronics system and drive R&D activities independently.
  • Design and set up test benches with automation instrumentation, and data acquisition systems for performance evaluation.
  • Strong hands-on and trouble-shooting skills in testing, verifications of power electronics systems, including the use of lab equipment (battery simulators, power supplies, E-loads, scopes, etc.).
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
