We are currently seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer for our Test Power Electronics team. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches their work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly, and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelors, or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in power electronics development and testing preferred.
  • Solid understanding of power electronics fundamentals.
  • Good hands-on experience for hardware test and validation.
  • Familiar with various equipment (force gauge, thermocouples, power supplies, multimeter, hi-pot tester, etc.).
  • Knowledge of automotive and industrial environmental reliability requirements (GMW, ISO, IEC standards).

Responsibilities

  • Review electrical schematics, PCB designs, and conduct test plans for EV charging power electronics systems.
  • Conduct verification tests for power electronics systems, ensuring compliance with industry and requirements.
  • Capability to analyze root-cause of the power electronics system and drive R&D activities independently.
  • Design and set up test benches with automation instrumentation, and data acquisition systems for performance evaluation.
  • Strong hands-on and trouble-shooting skills in testing, verifications of power electronics systems, including the use of lab equipment (battery simulators, power supplies, E-loads, scopes, etc.).
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
