About The Position

This role involves leading a team of Distillery Guardians and Retail Associates, ensuring high standards of presentation, service, and hospitality within the Brand Store and on experiences. The position requires managing daily operations, including scheduling, training, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with company and health and safety guidelines. The Sr. Distillery Guardian will also support specific experiences like Bottle Your Own, act as a Keyholder, and prioritize safety training for the team. Collaboration with other managers and leads within the Brand Home Department is essential. The role emphasizes leadership qualities such as strong communication, problem-solving, team management, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

• Candidate MUST be S.T.A.R. certified or willing to become certified.
• Candidate MUST be certified or willing to become a certified Bourbon Steward through Stave and Thief.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.
• Proficient with public speaking, diction, and English grammar.
• Solid verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school degree.
• Able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Able to stand, walk, climb stairs, squat and bend as this position requires a combination of mobility throughout the shift.
• Able to stand for a long period of time.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Must be self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Good analytical and reasoning skills.
• Able to be flexible and manage stress under pressure.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Must possess reading comprehension, writing, and mathematical skills and complete record keeping as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Associate or higher studies of marketing or hospitality a plus.
• Food and beverage, events, and/or retail experience are desired.
• Prior knowledge of distilled spirits is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Distillery Guardians and Retail Associates, including creating and executing a daily run-of-show schedule and leading morning briefings.
• Ensure high standards of presentation, service, and hospitality in the Brand Store and on experiences.
• Learn and execute the team’s schedule via the scheduling software.
• Ensure all daily paperwork or files are filled out and completed at the end of the business day.
• Understand supply inventory counts and communicate order needs.
• Support the Brand Home Tour Experience Supervisor with training and auditing tours and presentations.
• Provide support to the BH Single Barrel Coordinator with day-to-day operations of Bottle Your Own Experiences.
• Ensure the Angel’s Envy Brand Home operates within internal Bacardi guidelines as well as Health and Safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with other members of the team for information handover.
• Act as a Keyholder as needed to open and close the Brand Home operation.
• Prioritize and coordinate any safety training required of the Brand Home team.
• Collaborate with other Lead Distillery Guardians and all Managers in the Brand Home Department.
• Support other BH departments as needed.
• Manage a team of individuals in a fast-paced environment, leading a team to consistently provide a premium customer experience and hit KPIs.
• Perform basic daily light housekeeping duties as a team effort.
