About The Position

FTI Consulting is seeking a Sr. Director, Technical Documentation to own the documentation infrastructure for FTI Technology’s data and intelligence platform. The role’s primary output is documentation that makes the platform’s AI and data practices answerable to corporate clients in regulated industries and supports consistent operations across the Technology segment. The position owns the platform’s data dictionary, architecture documentation, API specifications, and integration guides, as well as model documentation packages covering training-data provenance, assumptions, validation methodology, version history, and performance monitoring. These materials serve as integration contracts for products including IQ.AI, FTI Connect, Reveal, and Relativity, reducing the need for repeated engineering coordination. The role works across engineering, data, security, and operations teams, and with adjacent product teams including IQ.AI, FTI Connect, and TechOps. It translates technical knowledge into usable artifacts for both engineers and senior leadership. As the program develops, the Sr. Director will establish documentation standards, tools, and processes for adoption by other FTI Technology teams. Travel to clients and FTI offices is required.
