  • Demonstrated experience establishing architecture and engineering strategies across complex enterprise ecosystems.
  • Experience leading engineering leaders and organizations at significant scale, including organizational design and talent transformation.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior business stakeholders and Technology executives and challenge established business and technology assumptions.
  • Proven track record of translating technology transformation into measurable business, financial, operational, and engineering outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (previously Finance & Operations) or similar ERP platforms.
  • Expertise in cloud technologies (Azure preferred) and modern integration patterns.
  • Understanding of AI-driven automation, data engineering, and intelligent process design.
  • Strong grasp of CI/CD, Agile, and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams.
  • Proven ability to lead change, drive innovation, and deliver measurable business value.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technology strategy across critical functional capabilities including inventory, order management, fulfillment, warehouse operations, reverse logistics, and end-to-end operational visibility across ERP and adjacent systems.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing, distributed software engineering organization of more than 50 engineers.
  • Define and enforce architecture principles, engineering standards, integration patterns, data ownership boundaries, and extensibility guardrails that enable autonomous teams while prioritizing standard platform capabilities, configuration over customization, reuse, and reduced technology complexity.
  • Define and execute an innovative product and technology vision that evolves the organization from service delivery to value generation.
  • Partner with cross-functional executives to shape the modernization roadmap, emphasizing automation, scalability, and intelligent systems.
  • Craft and drive delivery of a technical roadmap for ERP platforms within a function, enhancing the system of record for global inventory and fulfillment operations.
  • Own the engineering and architecture strategy for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Functional Management and its surrounding technology ecosystem, establishing clear boundaries between ERP core capabilities, extensions, integrations, data platforms, and differentiated custom applications.
  • Establish a high-accountability model for strategic technology partners, system integrators, and vendors, ensuring internal teams retain architectural ownership and critical engineering capabilities.
  • Lead the transformation of functional technology toward a simplified, scalable, configurable, and composable Back Office platform.
  • Establish clear principles for buy vs. build, configuration vs. customization, platform reuse, extensibility, and technology lifecycle management.
  • Challenge legacy business processes, technical assumptions, and solution patterns; partner with leaders to simplify processes before automating them.
  • Drive standardization and reuse across platform capabilities while preserving flexibility where it creates meaningful business differentiation.
  • Establish a product and platform operating model with persistent teams accountable for business outcomes, engineering quality, platform health, and continuous improvement.
  • Create and execute a deliberate strategy for retiring legacy applications, redundant capabilities, brittle integrations, and accumulated technical debt.
  • Build a multi-year transformation roadmap with measurable outcomes across business value, engineering productivity, reliability, cost, and platform adoption.
  • Champion AI and automation strategies that improve processes, operational decision-making, and efficiency.
  • Transform the software development lifecycle through AI-enabled engineering and end-to-end automation, materially improving productivity, quality, delivery cycle time, and value realization.
  • Identify opportunities to fundamentally redesign processes using AI, intelligent automation, and agentic capabilities, not simply automate existing workflows.
  • Cultivate a culture of experimentation and scalable adoption of emerging technologies.
  • Use data and analytics to continuously measure business outcomes and technology effectiveness.
  • Establish patterns and governance for safely moving AI capabilities from experimentation into scalable, production-grade enterprise solutions.
  • Embed Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps practices to accelerate delivery, improve predictability, and strengthen feedback loops.
  • Establish engineering practices and measurable SLOs for availability, performance, resilience, recoverability, and observability across business-critical platforms.
  • Partner closely with Security, Enterprise Architecture, and Product organizations to ensure compliance, security, and alignment.
  • Mentor and develop engineering and leadership talent, emphasizing collaboration, empowerment, and innovation.
  • Continuously evolve team topology, skills, leadership capabilities, and ways of working to align the engineering organization with the target platform architecture and product operating model.
  • Recruit and retain diverse, high-performing technical talent aligned with Asurion’s culture of ownership and excellence.
  • Lead through influence, accountability, and clear communication of strategic goals.
