About The Position

The Sr. Director of Product Management is responsible for leading a global team of entry level to experienced professionals focused on overseeing our integrated platforms and developing the department’s vision, strategy, and execution in alignment with the company’s goals. This role supports cross-functional teams and focuses on enhancing content across the assigned product line that increases the efficacy of product development across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Sets goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results
• Typically manages multiple teams that are led by experienced managers
• Influences others to accept practices and approaches
• Interacts with executive leadership and others concerning matters of significance to ConnectWise
• Owns short to mid-term strategy execution and operational direction of the Product Management team in alignment with the ConnectWise objectives
• Leads and prioritizes the daily activities of the team
• Manages, mentors, and coaches to develop a collaborative and dynamic global team
• Coordinates cross-functional communication to align on initiatives and strategies to drive product roadmaps and innovative requirements that lead to business growth
• Directs and coaches team to scale and expand data and analytics platforms to support the company’s vision
• Develop functional specifications for assigned product features to include effective product and user interface design, rapid prototyping, product validation testing, and usability testing
• Gathers, validates, and evaluates product/market requirements through market and customer research, competition, and product research
• Leads the development, approval, training, and communication of new product changes and their associated customer, operational, system, and process impacts to the various internal organizations
• Builds, measures, and refines product requirements and user experience analysis process
• Delivers timely and high-quality product releases that solve our partners business problems
• Participates in Go-To-Market (GTM) messaging, positioning, and strategy
• Identifies, develops, and manages contractual, technical, and consulting relationships with strategic partners/customers and providers, including joint ventures and subsidiary relationships and projects
• Monitors and improves internal processes for efficiency and validity pre & post product launch/changes
• Develops and delivers materials to the appropriate marketing and sales organizations which convey the purpose and details of the product, definition of its user, benefits to the customer, customization capabilities, and competitive comparison
• Oversees product lifecycle management and software development lifecycle
• Interacts with customers and prospects to define market requirements, and translate these requirements into product requirements that the engineering team can deliver within specification, on time, and within budget
• Represents ConnectWise companies in key customer engagements, at analyst events, conferences and other venues
