About The Position

We are working to build the easiest and most efficient Restaurant Platform to make our crew's job easier, so they can focus on delivering the quality and speed our customers love. In service of this goal, we are seeking a Senior Director of Product Management to lead Restaurant Platform products. This leader will shape and deliver products that will transform our restaurants and ultimately transform the QSR industry.

Requirements

  • Experience in leading large cross-functional teams deliver technology products with measurable results
  • Experience working with products that blend technology product development with a physical space
  • Proven experience “doing” product management: from writing requirements and acceptance criteria to assessing product pricing to establishing and selling in a product vision.
  • Business strategy e.g. business case development, product portfolio prioritization, pricing, setting and tracking KPIs/OKRs
  • Proven ability to influence complex organizations and can simplify ambiguity into a clear product vision and prioritized strategy
  • Strong communication skills with comfort in speaking with senior stakeholders to influence change throughout McDonald’s
  • Experience working in a global, preferably franchised, organization
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field

Responsibilities

  • Establish and deliver the multi-year product strategy for the restaurant platform products (i.e., products such as POS, Kiosk, Drive Thru technology, In-store technology, new AI solutions and more)
  • Elevate the product management craft at McDonald’s with a clear focus on the craft: creating product visions, robust requirements writing, clear acceptance criteria, strong measurement, etc.
  • Be a strong partner to our business teams who establish the strategy that we execute on. Be an excellent listener, understanding the goal and determining how to best build products to meet the goals.
  • Lead and grow a team of product leaders, driving clarity, execution, and talent development
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, operations, marketing, segment, and global markets to ensure cohesive experiences and scalable solutions
  • Translate insights and business goals into outcome-based roadmaps
  • Balance global consistency with market-specific flexibility through strong product operating model practices
  • Define and track success metrics, ensuring accountability to customer satisfaction, business impact, and operational efficiency
  • Serve as a thought leader and trusted partner across the business, influencing senior stakeholders and aligning priorities
