About The Position

The Senior Director, Trade & Distribution will lead execution of Praxis’ end-to-end trade and distribution strategy as the company advances toward commercialization. This role supports both rare disease and broader neurology launches, ensuring distribution, data, and partner ecosystems are operationally ready, compliant, and aligned to patient access and financial goals. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can translate strategy into execution, manage complexity across multiple workstreams, and drive launch readiness in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in trade, distribution, market access, or specialty pharmacy
  • Experience supporting commercial launches, ideally across rare disease and/or broader specialty markets
  • Experience managing 3PLs, specialty pharmacy networks, and complex cross-functional implementations
  • Strong understanding of channel strategy, commercialization infrastructure, and data flows
  • Strong executor who can turn strategy into action and drive decisions under real-world constraints
  • High ownership and accountability with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
  • Clear, direct communicator who builds effective cross-functional and external partnerships
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
  • Comfortable operating with low hierarchy, high autonomy, and candid feedback

Responsibilities

  • Execute trade and distribution strategies across rare disease and broader market channel models
  • Lead implementation and oversight of 3PL partners, including inventory flow, order-to-cash, reverse logistics, and SLA management
  • Support selection, onboarding, and operational management of specialty pharmacy partners
  • Drive implementation of data aggregation capabilities across 3PLs, specialty pharmacies, and digital pharmacy partners
  • Ensure serialization readiness, DSCSA compliance, and audit preparedness across products
  • Serve as the primary operational lead across external trade, distribution, and data partners
  • Partner cross-functionally with Market Access, Finance, Patient Services, and IT to ensure aligned execution and launch readiness
