About The Position

The Sr. Director of Supply Chain Strategy leads the planning and project management engine of the Operations organization, connecting demand planning, supply planning, and project execution into a coordinated operating rhythm. The role represents Operations on cross-functional director-level decisions involving new projects, prioritization, SKU rationalization, and other business priorities. It leads the project management team, sets portfolio priorities, assesses new projects for risk and feasibility, partners with the Brand team, and oversees a stage-gate process that enables timely decisions and clear leadership updates. The role owns the end-to-end demand planning process and establishes a stable supply planning rhythm through a true S&OP cadence. It connects sales expectations with deliverable supply, regularly identifies and resolves gaps between the forecast and supply signal, builds forward-looking planning capability, and uses new planning systems to improve visibility. It ensures supply risks are escalated promptly and that actions are taken to mitigate out-of-stocks and inventory risk. This is a hands-on leadership position that combines coaching and team development with direct operational engagement. The Sr. Director leads the Project Management, Supply Planning, and Demand Planning teams; establishes planning and portfolio processes, tools, metrics, and cadences; and drives continuous improvement. The role collaborates with Technical Services, Co-Manufacturing, Logistics, Customer Service, Brand, and other functions, representing Operations in cross-functional forums and ensuring commitments reflect actual capacity and lead times. In partnership with the VP of Operations, the position contributes to operational strategy and helps ensure short- and long-term objectives are met. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, communicative, calm and flexible in a fast-paced, high-growth product-development environment, and brings a positive, innovative, professional, hands-on approach. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. The position is based in Mill Valley, California, with a hybrid schedule: in office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; remote Wednesday and Friday. It is full-time, exempt, and salaried.
