About The Position

Team Credo is looking for a Sr. Director of Operations to join our mission to transform connectivity at scale. This role will play a critical role in advancing our system designs with our many global manufacturing partners. This position offers opportunities for cross-functional collaboration in a high-tech environment, ideal for professionals passionate about manufacturing great products and developing supply chain solutions. Base salary range is $220,000 – $280,000 a year. The base salary offer will depend on factors such as education, experience, training, skills, qualifications, and location. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, equity and a full range of medical and other benefit

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, with at least 5 years leading managers or directors.
  • Proven experience scaling operations in a complex, multi-site, multi-country environment.
  • Track record of owning P&L, budgets, or operational forecasts.
  • Demonstrated expertise in process optimization, KPI design, and performance management.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain, manufacturing, service delivery, or enterprise operations.
  • Proven ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership and influencing strategy at the VP/C-suite level.
  • Strong change-management and organizational leadership skills.
  • Data-driven decision maker with experience using operational dashboards, metrics, and analytics.
  • Ability to translate business strategy into scalable operational plans.
  • Strong financial acumen, including cost control and margin improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Strong project management and execution discipline across multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Translate corporate strategy into scalable operational plans and annual operating objectives.
  • Own end-to-end operational performance across multiple teams, regions, or product lines.
  • Identify and execute initiatives that improve efficiency, margin, quality, and cycle time.
  • Lead cross-functional planning to align operations with sales, product, finance, and supply chain.
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, data-driven decisions, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive succession planning, talent development, and leadership readiness.
  • Standardize workflows while allowing flexibility for regional or customer needs.
  • Reduce complexity and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
  • Lead automation, digitization, and systems optimization initiatives.
  • Own operating budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
  • Improve gross margin, operating margin, and overall cost efficiency.
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance.
  • Partner with Finance on ROI analysis and capital planning.
  • Serve as escalation point for complex operational challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards, and industry requirements.
  • Own operational risk management and business continuity planning.
  • Drive quality systems, audits, and corrective action processes.
  • Ensure operational teams meet customer delivery and service commitments.
  • Track customer satisfaction metrics related to operations.
  • Lead root-cause analysis for service issues and escalations.
  • Lead operational readiness for rapid growth, expansion, acquisitions, and new product launches.
  • Drive organization-wide change management and adoption of new systems and processes.
