About The Position

This role is responsible for building the plan to grow across all channels, driving demand through campaigns that bring in customers, and executing across various marketing functions including ads, email, content, and promotions. The position requires creating shared strategies to align businesses and platforms for collective momentum, owning the numbers to drive growth and marketing ROI by maximizing lean budgets, and fixing what’s broken with urgency. The role also involves supporting sales teams, building and mentoring a small, strong team, and protecting the brand by positioning products, launches, ads, and messaging effectively. This is a hybrid work arrangement based in Chicago, New York City, or Los Angeles, with a preference for Chicago.

Requirements

  • Success in growing a business, not just managing campaigns
  • Strong experience in product and brand marketing
  • Comfortable switching between strategy and execution daily. You can build it, but you can also execute it yourself when needed.
  • Strong understanding of retail, wholesale, and/or e-commerce (bonus if you’ve done all three!)
  • Strong business instincts to think in terms of revenue, margins, and ROI, not just marketing metrics including the ability to manage a marketing budget.
  • Comfortable using data to make decisions without overanalyzing
  • You don’t wait for perfect conditions; you test, learn, and move
  • Ability to read and speak English proficiently.
  • Experience in a premium, lifestyle, or specialty food brand where aesthetic vibe and data-driven performance were treated as inseparable.
  • If you’ve worked in specialty coffee, that is a huge plus!
