About The Role: As the Sr. Director of Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory at Feastables, you will be positioned as Feastable’s guardian of product integrity and consumer trust - owning the enterprise of FSQR strategy. Operating through an external manufacturing network, this role demands a leader who drives world-class outcomes through influence and partnership. Feastables is redefining what a modern food brand looks like - and this role protects everything that makes it possible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related technical field.
  • 12+ years of food industry FSQR leadership combining plant-floor operational depth with executive management of co-manufacturers and co-packers relationships.
  • Proven executive command of crisis management - recalls, regulatory inspections, customer complaints, and high-stakes communications under pressure.
  • Demonstrate experience across the full regulatory and FSQ technical scope - federal requirements, certification schemes, and core quality assurance risk programs.
  • Ability to build trust-based partnerships with suppliers, co-manufacturers and co-packers, influencing performance without direct operational control.
  • Track record of leading established FSQR teams and driving agendas cross-functionally, with communication ranging from technical detail to senior leadership risk positions.

Responsibilities

  • Set the enterprise global food safety, quality, and regulatory standards - strategy, policies, and governance - protecting brand equity across all channels and products.
  • Own enterprise food safety risk management and crisis response - recalls, hold/releases, and regulatory communications.
  • Assure compliance with global regulations, GFSI schemes, and Feastables FSQR standards, while managing business risk.
  • Own the co-manufacturers lifecycle - qualification, audit strategy, executive accountability for closing critical non-conformities, and performance.
  • Embed FSQR into sourcing, innovation, and network expansion decisions alongside supply chain, procurement, R&D, and commercial.
  • Lead an established FSQR organization, strengthening capability of people and programs, and championing food safety and regulatory culture across the business.
