As a Senior Director, Marketing Lead – HIV Prevention you will be an integral part of a fast paced highly collaborative marketing team, who are on a mission to increase awareness, knowledge, relevancy, and usage of PrEP as part of preventative health for all who could benefit from it.

Requirements

  • 14+ Years with BS/BA OR 12+ Years with MS/MA or MBA

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of experience
  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related fields is preferred.
  • An advanced science degree or an advanced business degree such as an MBA is desirable.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry including expertise in marketing with experience in a variety of roles, and/or sales as a first line leader is preferred
  • Adept at forming and maintaining a collaborative work environment within cross functional teams
  • Expert understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and impact on development of marketing materials is required
  • Proven ability to work well as part of a team and in leading teams
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical product life cycle management—including product launches is strongly preferred
  • Strategic thinker with innovative mindset that can make decisive decisions, prioritize tradeoffs, and effectively communicate recommendations among a set of key strategic choices
  • An entrepreneurial thinker who has a strong desire and is confident working within a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong desire and ability to work in a face-paced and dynamic environment
  • A minimum of 5 years in product marketing or advertising in the pharma/healthcare space is preferred
  • Comfortable discussing topics relevant to the HIV prevention space, including sexual health, mental health, and substance use
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the brand strategy, ensuring cross‑functional alignment, milestone discipline, and consistent, timely communication across marketing and partner teams.
  • Balance strategic vision with operational rigor, bringing clarity, structure, and precision to a complex, high‑visibility brand.
  • Lead development of executive‑ready presentations and communications for senior leadership, articulating strategy, progress, and recommendations with confidence and authority.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor on key decisions, offering thought leadership grounded in market insight, cross‑functional engagement, and an enterprise mindset.
  • Provide leadership to the focused marketing team, guiding the development of promotional strategies and tactics across critical stakeholders and channels
  • Lead development of comprehensive campaign plans, ensuring readiness across all critical channels and stakeholders.
  • Set priorities and ensure alignment with overall PrEP portfolio strategies and broader market imperatives.
  • Represents US Commercial (Marketing/Sales) on Global Workstreams and Key US Cross-Functional Workstreams and partners for outcomes supporting aligned US strategies
  • Execute strategy through deep cross‑functional collaboration, maintaining alignment and follow‑through across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Lead acute and systemic problem‑solving, ensuring swift, effective solutions in partnership with internal and external collaborators.
  • Demonstrate advanced interpersonal and leadership skills, effectively resolving conflict, building consensus, and influencing across cultures and disciplines.
  • Apply strong strategic and project‑management capabilities, overseeing multiple complex priorities with discipline and excellence.
  • Manage budgets with precision, ensuring thoughtful resource allocation and optimized financial performance.
  • Synthesize complex analyses into actionable insights, leveraging a variety of strategic frameworks and methods to guide recommendations and decisions.
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement, fostering new ideas and approaches that move the business forward.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Build and steward strategic relationships with partners across Global, Managed Markets, Medical, and PrEP Marketing, etc.
