About The Position

The Sr. Director, Global Supply Chain & Operations Planning is a senior leadership role responsible for end-to-end operational planning and supply chain execution across the global business. This role owns Global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), demand and supply planning, strategic sourcing, and manufacturing strategy and execution. The Sr. Director drives predictable operational performance while building scalable, world-class planning, sourcing, and manufacturing capabilities. This role serves as the Chief Operating Officer’s primary operational partner for supply chain performance. This leader will operate with full accountability for global supply chain performance and authority to make operational tradeoffs within established financial guardrails. Success will be measured by predictable execution, working capital performance, cost productivity, and the ability to scale operations in line with aggressive growth objectives without reliance on daily executive intervention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 15+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Senior leadership experience in global supply chain, operations, or manufacturing within a complex, multi‑region environment
  • Proven ownership of P&L, cost transformation, and working capital performance
  • Proven track record improving cost, service, inventory, and operational performance
  • Experience managing global supplier networks and manufacturing footprints
  • Executive-level stakeholder management and decision leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Own end‑to‑end global supply chain P&L performance, including cost, productivity, working capital, inventory, and service outcomes
  • Build and deliver a multi‑year cost transformation roadmap, driving structural cost reduction, productivity improvements, and sustainable savings
  • Lead working capital optimization, including inventory strategy, turns, and cash performance
  • Own the global S&OP process, governance, and operating cadence
  • Lead demand, supply, capacity, and inventory planning across the enterprise
  • Establish and drive executive decision frameworks for supply‑demand tradeoffs, capacity allocation, and inventory investment
  • Drive improvements in forecast accuracy, service performance, and inventory turns
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Finance to align operational plans with financial commitments and growth objectives
  • Own global sourcing strategy and supplier network performance
  • Negotiate and deliver updated supplier agreements with top‑tier partners
  • Develop supplier partnerships focused on cost, quality, reliability, innovation, and risk mitigation
  • Lead internal and external manufacturing strategy and execution, improving production efficiency, cost performance, and quality outcomes
  • Drive make vs. buy decisions, footprint optimization, and network design to support scale and efficiency
  • Own supply continuity and geopolitical risk mitigation strategy
  • Develop multi‑sourcing and regionalization strategies to increase resilience
  • Establish formal supply chain risk governance, including decision rights, escalation protocols, and operating discipline
  • Build scalable operating models, KPIs, dashboards, and operating reviews
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and process maturity initiatives across planning, sourcing, and manufacturing
  • Establish clear accountability and performance management across global operations
  • Provide executive‑level engagement with key suppliers, manufacturing partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Lead, develop, and strengthen global planning, sourcing, and manufacturing teams
  • Build organizational capability and operating infrastructure to support 2× revenue growth
