About The Position

The Senior Director of Finance serves as a critical member of American Textile Company’s (ATC) Finance leadership team. This role supports the Vice President, FP&A and Treasurer in leading global Treasury functions, including banking, cash positioning and forecasting, capital financing, dividend planning, and Risk Management/Business Insurance. The Senior Director of Finance partners closely with the Senior Director of FP&A on Treasury-related activities associated with the annual financial budget and periodic financial forecast updates. This position also drives process improvements, supports financing and risk management initiatives, and develops strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external financial partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10+ years of accounting, FP&A, and/or treasury experience within a manufacturing organization
  • Strong background in supporting corporate cash management, cash flow forecasting, working capital management, debt management and compliance, equipment financing, and financial risk management activities
  • Knowledge of online banking platforms and treasury-related systems, including treasury workstation administration
  • Experience supporting or administering an asset-backed lending (ABL) credit facility preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and with external partners
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial risk management strategies, financing instruments, and treasury-related compliance requirements
  • Proven ability to lead initiatives, influence cross-functional teams, and improve Treasury operations within a corporate environment
  • Expertise leveraging technology to improve automation, process efficiency, and Treasury reporting capabilities
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment while balancing strategic priorities and day-to-day execution
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to support forecasting, liquidity planning, and financial decision-making

Responsibilities

  • Leads day-to-day management of global cash flow, Excess Availability, and loan/debt balances, including partnership with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable leadership.
  • Supports the CFO and VP, FP&A and Treasurer in reporting, monitoring, compliance, and negotiations associated with ATC’s asset-backed lending (ABL) credit facility, bank credit agreements, financial covenants, and rate structures.
  • Leads and coordinates annual field examinations, inventory appraisals, and machinery/equipment appraisals with external partners and internal business teams.
  • Ensures Treasury operations are supported by appropriate internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Leads the Company’s equipment financing activities across lending participants, including partnership with FP&A and Accounting related to capital expenditure planning.
  • Oversees the Chinese Treasury function, including coordination with ATC Shanghai leadership, local accounting partners, and banking personnel.
  • Directs administration of the Company’s corporate credit card program.
  • Continuously evaluates Treasury processes and leverages technology to improve automation, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Prepares and distributes rolling 13-week collateral, outstanding obligations, and Excess Availability forecasts for ownership and finance leadership.
  • Partners with the Sr. Director of FP&A to support Treasury activities associated with the annual financial budget and periodic financial forecasts, including borrowing activity, equipment financing, interest expense, collateral values, Excess Availability, and debt covenant compliance.
  • Optimizes working capital, cash forecasting/reporting, and debt compliance processes for internal management and external partners.
  • Partners with Operations, Sales, FP&A, and Accounting to deliver accurate and timely cash flow and debt compliance projections.
  • Contributes to the measurement of and adherence to the Company’s formal dividend policy and supports optimization of Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC).
  • Maintains rolling 12-month insured asset, business interruption, and payroll exposure reporting by location and in total supporting insurance and risk management activities.
  • Leads annual insurance renewals, insurance claims management, and program audits with brokers, carriers, attorneys, and internal stakeholders.
  • Reviews and maintains customer and supplier insurance requirements and supports administration of the Company’s vehicle leasing program.
  • Assesses opportunities and costs associated with risk management initiatives and hedging products related to foreign exchange and interest rate exposure.
  • Supports development and execution of the Company’s credit risk management strategy and cost-of-terms processes supporting customer pricing and vendor costing considerations.
  • Oversees administration and management of ATC’s insurance policies and programs, including timely issuance and revision of Letters of Credit (LCs).
  • Develops strong cross-functional relationships to ensure forecasting, cash flow management, and financing strategies reflect operational business needs and trends.
  • Represents ATC with external banking, financing, and insurance partners and supports the development and mentoring of financial professionals across the Finance organization.
