The Senior Director, Field Medical Excellence & Training, will serve as a strategic leader responsible for advancing the effectiveness, capabilities, and execution of Celldex’s Field Medical organization. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, US Field Medical Affairs, this role will oversee and elevate key field-based initiatives that inform and support Medical Affairs strategies, while driving a culture of excellence in scientific engagement and execution for both field and home-office medical staff. Partnering closely with Medical Affairs leadership, Field Medical leadership, Home Office Medical Affairs, Commercial Field Training, Compliance, HR, and other cross-functional stakeholders, this individual will lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive Field Medical Excellence framework. This includes ownership of onboarding, continuous learning and development across all Celldex therapeutic areas, field/external execution standards, and launch readiness support. The role will also enhance field performance through the development of meaningful KPIs, dashboards, and actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and maximize MSL impact. Additionally, this individual will guide territory optimization and alignment, refine field-facing processes and tools, and establish best practices that enable consistency, scalability, and high-quality engagement across the organization. This position plays a critical role in strengthening the capabilities of the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) and home-office medical organizations by integrating scientific knowledge with structured training, data-driven insight generation, and disciplined execution supporting Celldex’s growing immunology portfolio and future commercialization efforts. The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of scientific acumen, field medical experience, and leadership in excellence initiatives, along with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced biotechnology environment.
