The Sr. Director, Engineering Management - Digital Agents & Integrations is responsible for building, leading, and developing the engineering team that delivers McKesson's digital agent and integration capabilities for the contact center technology portfolio. This role leads engineers working within the conversational AI platform to develop digital agent reference models across voice, chat, and email channels, and the integration engineering team building and maintaining interfaces between the digital agent platform, CCaaS platforms, CRM systems, and enterprise systems of record. The position manages a blended delivery model that includes employees and embedded vendor engineers. This leader is accountable for team performance, talent development, hiring, engineering practice maturity, and capacity planning. The Sr. Director partners with solution architects on technical direction, service managers on delivery priorities, and transformation program leadership on resource allocation. By championing AI-enabled engineering practices, fostering a culture of technical excellence, and ensuring security and compliance standards are embedded in engineering workflows, this leader ensures the digital agent and integration engineering function delivers the quality, velocity, and innovation required to support McKesson's enterprise contact center strategy.
