About The Position

We are seeking an inspiring people leader with a deep passion for AI engagement and enablement. In this role, you will lead a team that designs and delivers AI engagement programmes, helping colleagues across the organization discover, understand, and confidently apply AI tools in their daily work. You will serve as a champion for AI adoption, translating complex AI capabilities into accessible, human-centred experiences that spark curiosity and drive lasting behavioural change. You will act as a bridge between the technical AI landscape and the people who use it, making AI tangible, practical, and compelling for diverse audiences. You will find imaginative ways to introduce new AI technologies, support teams through the cultural shifts that come with AI adoption at scale, and influence AI enablement strategy across the organization. Leading a top-tier engineering and experience team, you will create interactive experiences built on the platforms provided by Digital & Technology, bringing AI capabilities to life in ways that resonate with colleagues at every level. Success in this role requires proven experience leading technical organizations. This role encompasses cross-functional engagement with enterprise-wide influence. You will shape AI adoption strategy, sponsor enablement programmes, and be a recognized thought leader in human-centred AI adoption. You will handle cross-team dynamics to ensure AI tools and ways of working are understood, embraced, and applied effectively across the organization. You will also be responsible for working with the Digital & Technology AI Platform team to ensure that user feedback, feature improvements and usability patterns are communicated back through the Digital organization to help evolve the offerings available for all organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 12+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver AI engagement programmes, hands-on workshops, and experiential learning sessions that make AI accessible and compelling for diverse audiences.
  • Introduce new AI tools and ways of working across teams, spark curiosity and experimentation, and support change management with concrete, relatable examples of AI in practice.
  • Find creative ways to introduce new AI technologies, using storytelling, live demonstrations, and co-creation techniques to inspire new thinking.
  • Champion AI-powered ideation and surface emerging opportunities from across the organization.
  • Lead a team that builds fast, polished, engaging interactive applications and programs. This lead owns both the design and the technology build, so the business can see its ideas come to life and truly grasp the vision behind them.
  • Represent AI engagement at leadership forums, communicate adoption progress and impact to senior leaders, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align enablement initiatives with strategic priorities.
  • Act as the organization’s primary advocate for human-centred AI adoption.
  • Lead and develop a team of engagement professionals. Shape talent strategy, build high-performing teams, and create an environment where creativity, experimentation, and human-centred design are celebrated.
  • Convert high value ideas from the numerous business engagements into quick style requirements conversion to production ready applications working in tight partnership with the strategic engineering team.
  • Guide AI adoption decisions across teams, assess readiness and risks systematically, and design human-in-the-loop learning experiences that build lasting AI capability at scale.
  • Shape knowledge-sharing practices across business stakeholders, create frameworks and adoption playbooks that others can use, and maintain external visibility as a recognised thought leader in human-centred AI adoption.
  • Partner with engineering, business, and AI organisation stakeholders to align engagement initiatives with enterprise priorities, coordinate cross-team dynamics, and ensure AI tools and ways of working are consistently understood and applied.
  • Tightly managed finances are critical to this role to ensure that the team can meet the high demand of workshops and adoption strategies supporting all organizational demands.
