Sr. Digital Product Manager

SEF Energy CareersDallas, TX
Onsite

About The Position

The Sr. Digital Product Manager owns the full lifecycle of digital products across SEF Energy and its subsidiaries - from concept and specification through design, launch, and iteration. This role is the connective tissue between business strategy, engineering, and end users, ensuring every digital product ships on time, solves a real problem, and reflects the SEF brand. This is not a coordination role - it requires hands-on product ownership, UX design leadership, and the creative range to take a product from whiteboard to customer-ready in a fast-moving industrial environment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in digital product management, creative direction, UX design, or a combination of these disciplines
  • Demonstrated ability to own a product end-to-end - from stakeholder requirements and design through acceptance criteria, launch, and post-launch iteration
  • Experience designing and delivering customer-facing digital products: catalogs, portals, web and mobile applications
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and meet the company driver requirement to operate a company vehicle while traveling
  • Pass a hair follicle drug test and a background check once the offer of employment has been accepted

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree or equivalent advanced education in a relevant discipline is a plus
  • Experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree: 10+ years of progressive creative and product leadership with demonstrated, portfolio-supported results

Responsibilities

  • Own product specification, UX design, and launch coordination for digital products across Downing, OSO Perforating, and SEF Energy - including the Freedom Series (GoFS) launch, product catalogs, field operator training programs, and ecommerce
  • Lead the GoFS Launch product effort: develop sales-enablement assets, customer-facing materials, demo content, and the post-launch iteration roadmap in partnership with Business Development and Sales
  • Deliver the Downing Product Catalog application: define requirements, design the user experience, and oversee build for a customer-facing catalog that enables operator self-service comparable to industry-leading platforms
  • Drive Freedom Series UI/UX Implementation Support: serve as designer-in-the-loop during the Engineering build phase, triaging change requests, refining UI components, and maintaining the Downing Software UI Style Guide as a living standard
  • Produce the Freedom Series Independent Training program: build a multi-module, scenario-driven video training curriculum for field operators, from script and storyboard through final delivery
  • Own the OSO Product Catalog application: replace the existing non-functional mobile catalog with a modern customer-facing solution that positions the Colt 45 product line effectively in the market
  • Conduct Freedom Series Simulator UI/UX Discovery: lead user research, develop user-tested mockups, and produce a product document ready for engineering handoff
  • Build and operate agentic graphic tooling: serve as designer-in-the-loop on AI-powered design workflows, ensuring brand consistency at scale across all digital product outputs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with VP of Business Development, VP of Operations, VP of Engineering, and the AI/IT team to define requirements, validate designs, and manage delivery timelines
  • Author clear product specifications, acceptance criteria, and user stories that enable engineering and build partners to execute without ambiguity
  • Produce high-quality creative assets including product documentation, training video content, presentation materials, and design systems
  • Perform other duties as assigned
