Sr. DevOps Engineer
About The Position
Title: Sr. DevOps Engineer Location: Houston, Texas (5 Days Onsite) – Local/nearby candidates required Duration: 6+ months (with possible extension or Convert to Hire / CTH) Employment Type: W2 Contract (no C2C mentioned in most postings) Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Technology, or related field 8+ years of software engineering experience across full SDLC Proficiency in Linux, REST APIs, Spring Boot, Node.js, SQL, core algorithms Experience with large-scale, distributed applications in mission-critical environments Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging (e.g., JMS) Strong DevOps practices: CI/CD, automated testing (TDD), resiliency, application security Excellent communication for technical/non-technical audiences Track record in collaborative, cross-functional teams Awareness of industry trends/best practices Experience in large-scale applications/environments Strong in Unix/Linux Strong automation skills Very well-versed in AWS Resiliency, performance, security, Disaster Recovery Strong in CI/CD tools like Jules and Jenkins Python/Shell/coding experience (big plus) SQL Equal Employment Opportunity TopTechTalent.ai believes that all persons are entitled to equal employment opportunities. Requirements
