Sr. DevOps Engineer
About The Position
The Sr. DevOps Engineer will support the DLA Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Development and Sustainment program, which modernizes, enhances, and sustains a mission-critical defense procurement and payment platform comprising approximately 34 applications. The program covers enterprise software modernization, legacy-code refactoring, Agile/DevSecOps delivery, AWS GovCloud operations, CI/CD automation, cybersecurity, AI/ML integration, automated testing, and improvements to system performance and user experience. This role drives DevOps strategy, oversees continuous integration and deployment architecture across technologies, and monitors systems. It defines Scrum Agile methodology for large-scale clients and engineers complex technology implementations in a product-centric environment. The position also uses scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems.
Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Minimum 10 years of experience.
- Experience defining Scrum Agile methodologies for large-scale clients.
- Experience leading DevOps methodologies, implementing Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies, and driving an automated software development lifecycle.
- Experience with deployments in both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Experience engineering complex technology implementations in a product-centric environment.
- Experience with DevOps services using an infrastructure-as-a-service provider, such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, or RackSpace/OpenStack.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as TFS, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt, or LVM.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as LXC, Docker, Rocket, or OpenShift.
- Experience with CI/CD, IaC, automated testing, SAST/DAST, Java/full-stack, and SAFe.
- Bachelor's or master's degree.
- CSP certification, such as AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure SA, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
