About The Position

Harbinger is seeking a highly motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to help scale and maintain the infrastructure, tooling, and deployment systems that support our rapidly growing engineering organization. This individual will play a critical role in improving developer velocity, system reliability, CI/CD automation, cloud infrastructure, and operational excellence across software, embedded, and connected vehicle platforms. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments, enjoys solving complex infrastructure problems, and takes ownership from architecture through execution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related roles
  • Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud environments
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
  • Strong Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
  • Scripting or programming experience with Python, Bash, or Go
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to operate with urgency and ownership in a startup environment

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure environments across AWS and/or Azure
  • Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines to support software, embedded systems, and connected vehicle deployments
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Improve system observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response tooling
  • Partner closely with software, firmware, IT, cybersecurity, and platform engineering teams to streamline development and deployment workflows
  • Implement and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Support security best practices across infrastructure, access management, secrets management, and deployment pipelines
  • Drive reliability, uptime, scalability, and disaster recovery initiatives
  • Troubleshoot production and infrastructure issues across cloud, networking, and deployment systems
  • Continuously identify opportunities to reduce operational overhead and improve engineering efficiency
