The Senior Designer role is responsible for delivering remarkable and responsible brand design solutions that are distinctive, inclusive, and aligned with future environmental and social impact needs. This role supports top business priorities in a brand- and region-agnostic capacity, translating strategic direction into high-quality creative execution across multiple touchpoints, including packaging, brand identity applications, and brandworld activation assets. The designer will ensure all work is on-brand, distinctive, and aligned with regional and global standards to strengthen brand recognition and consistency. They will translate strategic direction, creative briefs, and design principles into strong design solutions, preserving design intent from concept through delivery. Key responsibilities include developing and executing packaging design, design adaptations, layouts, artwork direction, refined design files, packaging concepts, mock-ups, and prototypes. Additionally, the role involves creating visual design assets for campaigns, innovation, displays, eCommerce, and web touchpoints within approved design systems. The Senior Designer will contribute to design briefs, prepare rationale and presentation materials, and document design intent and guidelines. Effective project management to ensure on-time, on-brief, and within-scope delivery is crucial. Collaboration with Marketing, Science, Graphic Managers, agencies, and other partners is essential for stakeholder alignment and decision-making. Active participation in project reviews, workshops, and working sessions is expected. Providing clear feedback to agencies and internal partners to reduce revisions and strengthen outcomes is a key function. The role also involves contributing to design system application and continuous improvement, building expertise in areas like design systems, consumer insight, sustainability, packaging, and brandworld activation. Utilizing digital and AI tools to enhance exploration, efficiency, and workflow speed while maintaining creative quality, ethical standards, and brand integrity is required. Support for Dynamic Shared Ownership (DSO) ways of working in sprint-based and agile environments, demonstrating ownership, transparency, and proactive problem-solving, is also a part of this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent
  • Experience in packaging design, brand identity application, and brandworld activation.
  • Experience collaborating with external design agencies, advertising agencies, CMOs, and suppliers.
  • Ability to submit portfolio with application
  • Proven ability to create and execute design across multiple consumer and brand touchpoints.
  • Experience in project planning and managing design delivery from concept through execution.
  • Strong understanding of shopper and consumer empathy, market trends, and manufacturing/printing principles.
  • Foundational understanding of brand building fundamentals and how to translate them into design strategy, principles, and design ideas.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly, concisely, and with sound rationale.
  • Demonstrated organizational agility, drive for results, and ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Alignment with agile and DSO principles, with the ability to work in 90-day cycles, navigate ambiguity, and maintain a creative mindset focused on high-impact outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience using AI and digital tools for prototyping, concept exploration, or workflow acceleration.
  • Ability to explain technical or AI-enabled concepts in accessible language while adhering to ethical and security standards.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality brand design consistently across packaging, brand identity applications, and brandworld activation assets.
  • Ensure all design work is on-brand, distinctive, and aligned with regional and global standards to strengthen brand recognition and consistency.
  • Translate strategic direction, creative briefs, and design principles into strong design solutions while preserving design intent from concept through delivery.
  • Develop and execute packaging design, design adaptations, layouts, artwork direction, refined design files, packaging concepts, mock-ups, and prototypes.
  • Create visual design assets for campaigns, innovation, displays, eCommerce, and web touchpoints within approved design systems and architecture.
  • Contribute to design briefs and responses to briefs and prepare design rationale and presentation materials to communicate creative intent clearly.
  • Document design intent, guidelines, and review feedback to support smooth execution across internal teams and agency partners.
  • Manage design development effectively so projects are delivered on time, on brief, and within agreed scope.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Science, Graphic Managers, agencies, and other partners to align stakeholders around clear design intent and improve speed and quality of decision-making.
  • Participate actively in project reviews, workshops, milestone check-ins, and working sessions to ensure alignment and delivery progress.
  • Provide clear, consolidated feedback to agencies and internal partners to reduce revisions and strengthen outcomes.
  • Contribute to design system application and continuous improvement through reusable templates, asset libraries, and working files where relevant.
  • Build deeper expertise across PX Brand Design T-skills at a foundational-to-intermediate level, including design systems, consumer insight, sustainability, packaging, and brandworld activation.
  • Use digital and AI tools to improve exploration, efficiency, and workflow speed while maintaining creative quality, ethical standards, and brand integrity.
  • Support Dynamic Shared Ownership (DSO) ways of working by contributing in sprint-based and agile environments with ownership, transparency, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Operate in a role that is approximately 50% hands-on design and 50% design management.
