About The Position

This role is intended to support Design Validation (DV) activities, specifically LV124 electrical stress testing. This position requires an experienced professional to work directly with LV Test & Validation team to accomplish DVP on time. Requirements

• Understanding of automotive electrical systems and lab testing best practices
• Extensive experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, and current measurement techniques
• Strong skills working with Microsoft Word and Excel for data organization, analysis and report generation.
• A strong desire to create state-of-the-art engineering products as an integral part of a capable team.
• Ability to review and provide input in design reviews for PCBA schematics and layouts
• Experience with Confluence and JIRA
• Excellent communication skills in both technical and non-technical environments.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to work hands on in a validation lab environment

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience running electrical validation for Automotive ECU’s.
• Experience with NI Test Stand/LabView is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical test and validation for automotive ECU modules per approved test plans and internal specifications – LV124
• Configure and operate laboratory equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, current probes, and electronic loads
• Document test conditions, results, and observations to support DV/PV reporting
• Organize waveform data, plots, and test artifacts for engineering review
• Work closely with LVEE engineers to ensure coverage, schedule adherence, and safe lab operations
• Create test plans to validate electrical performance of various electrical components, including E‑fuses, voltage regulators, microcontroller power stages, and other ECU‑level circuitry.
• Conduct environmental and mechanical tests in support of Lucid Engineering team.
