About The Position

This position works out of either one of our Plymouth,MN or Hollywood,FL locations in the Structural Heart division. The Structural Heart Business Mission is to restore health and improve quality of life by designing and providing device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease. Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Demand Planner to lead the CALA forecasting and IBP process. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with finance, commercial, supply chain, and marketing teams to drive process improvements, product lifecycle planning strategies (including product launches and phase-outs), commercial strategy modeling, field inventory management, and the management of systems and metrics to measure performance. We are looking for a proactive problem solver who is comfortable with ambiguity and can lead a team to achieve results. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in forecasting, S&OP/IBP processes, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in excel modeling, planning systems and analytics tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Experience in change management and building strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Monthly Review Process: Oversee the monthly IBP (Integrated Business Planning) Commercial Management Review process with CALA Executive Leadership.
  • Manage commercial KPI performance, conduct root cause analysis, and develop solutions.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to build consensus around forecasts, commercial plans, and action plans to address challenges.
  • Develop demand plans with commercial, marketing, and finance teams based on business trends, commercial and marketing strategies, and sales pipeline over a 24 mo horizon.
  • Create models to forecast sales, field inventory changes, product phase-ins/phase-outs, and distressed inventory risks.
  • Execute approved plans, manage abnormal demand, and review and report adherence to forecasts and launch plans.
  • Utilize scenario planning to assess risks and drive informed business decisions.
  • Reconcile and explain differences between IBP forecasts and LBE forecasts.
  • Demonstrate effective change leadership and build strategic partnerships to advance departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Develop, implement and continuously optimize processes, tools, and systems.
  • Summarize complex data and changing assumptions into concise reports, messages, and recommendations for stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Proactively solve problems, handle unstructured challenges, and lead teams to resolve identified issues.
  • Implement and optimize the new IBP (Integrated Business Planning) Commercial Management Review process for the CALA Structural Heart division.
  • Travel for position up to 10%.
